Day 71

Becca is doing much better today. She was pretty much out of it all day yesterday. She didn’t remember much of our visit because of the nausia drugs. The main side effect is drowsyness and they worked. Becca had a very good friend from Texas come up and visit with her. She will be here for the next couple of days. It always brings a smile to her face when she sees friends from home. Today she is walking around in the hospital again and she sounds like a million bucks. We miss her when she’s gone, but we know the chemo is doing it’s job and shrinking the tumor.

Love you all, keep up the faith and prayers!

Hey Becca…and Andrea. I am so excited just know that you two are visiting with each other. I know that right now Andrea is probably the best medicine that Becca could ask for. I love this ward family that we have and to know that you “Sisters” are together brings a peace and joy to each of us here. Enjoy your visit. Our prayers and our love are always with you Rebecca. Keep fighting
because we need you with us.

Hello Gibbons Family,
I know it is hard for you to have Becca away from the house, especially for the boys. But I’m so very happy to hear that Becca had a friend come in for a visit. You’re so right- a face from home can make a yucky day seem not quite as yucky!
It seems to me that just the fact that Becca is progressing so well under this treatment plan, it can only mean one thing. SUCCESS! My thoughts are with you guys and I keep you on my prayer list. Rebecca IS going to get better and better and better. I can’t help but feel the darkest days are behind you guys and a clean helath report will be the result of all this hard work you’ve all been doing.
Love to all-
Sherry

Hi Becca,
You are so amazing! I went Jami’s baby shower last Thursday and as she was opening the gift from you I couldn’t help but think how wonderful you are. At a time when you could be totally focused on yourself you are thinking of others. I just love you for that! Thank you. Thank you the proof that
this illness is so limited:
It cannot cripple love
It cannot shatter hope
It cannot corrode faith
It cannot destroy peace
It cannot kill friendship
It cannot suppress memories
It cannot silence courage
It cannot invade the soul
It cannot steal eternal life
It cannot conquer the spirit
You have come such a long way and you continue to amaze me! I miss you, pray for you and your family, and am cheering you on.
Love, Amy Binns

Randy and Rebecca,

You’re in my thoughts so much, I read your updates daily and your positive attitude is inspiring. I miss you and the kids, please give them a hug for me. I promise to take them to the vending machine the next time I see them. Take good care and my prayers are with you. Love, Judy T.
